Canada, Feb. 22 -- The Bangladesh Society of Calgary (BSC), Canada, has celebrated International Mother Language Day with profound respect and reverence, demonstrating their love for their mother tongue.
The event took place at the Renfrew Community Center in Calgary on Saturday, with around 250 attendees from various nationalities, including members of the Bangladeshi community residing in Calgary.
Artists from ten countries-Bangladesh, Canada, Russia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, China, the Philippines, and Egypt-graced the event, performing songs and dances in their respective languages to mark the occasion of International Mother Language Day.
