Dhaka, March 22 -- Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Traffic Department conducted a drive at various workshops from Gabtoli Bus Terminal to Aminbazar and Beribadh areas on Saturday to prevent the movement of unfit buses during the upcoming Eid journey.

Anisuzzaman, Executive Magistrate of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), said that a drive was conducted at five workshops in the area on Saturday morning.

During the visit, it was found that none of the five workshops had obtained a license from the BRTA.
