Dhaka, July 12 -- League leaders Bashundhara Kings further consolidated their position to clinch the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football title beating Arambagh Krira Sangha by 3-0 goals at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Friday.

Earlier, rain stopped the match, which was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday, after eight minutes into the play. The match resumed today from where it stopped on Thursday.

With the day's feat, Bashundhara Kings maintained their top slot in the league with unbeaten run securing 55 points from 19 league matches, four points ahead of nearest rivals and holders Dhaka Abahani, which bagged 51 points from 20 matches.
