Feni, March 3 -- year-old woman died due to a wrong operation by a gynecologist at a Feni hospital, alleged family.

The deceased Parul Akter was a resident of Madhyam Chandipur village of Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni.

The accused gynecologist is Dr. Mahbuba Khanam of Alchemy Hospital in Feni.

On Monday, the patient's brother Amir Hossain filed a written complaint at the Feni Civil Surgeon's office, holding Dr. Mahbuba and her medical team responsible for the alleged malpractice.

According to the complaint, victim Parul was admitted to the hospital for a hysterectomy. Dr. Mahbuba Khanam conducted the surgery on February 20.

However, two days after the operation, Parul's condition deteriorated.
