Dhaka, June 1 -- A book titled 'Kamal theke SadhynaterGhoshok, Putul Theke Desh Netri', written by renowned banker Nasir Uddin Ahmed was launched in the city on Monday.

Dr Enayet Karim, President of the Global Economist Forum and Global Development Bank, formally unveiled the cover of the book as the chief guest at a simple ceremony held at the Purana Paltan office of Daily Industry.

Speaking at the programme, Dr Enayet said the author presented the contributions of the late President Ziaur Rahman and his wife, former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, to the country and its people as a historic document by incorporating significant information, documents and photographs.
