Dhaka, Nov. 27 -- BNP on Thursday announced a six-day programme, titled 'Plan to Build the Country', scheduled to be observed from 7 to 13 December.

The party also called for special prayers after Jumma prayers in mosques across the country on Friday, seeking the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office on Thursday.

A committee has also been formed to implement the six-day programme, with Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as convener and BNP Joint Secretary General Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel as member-secretary.
