, Dec. 27 -- BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain returned to Dhaka on Saturday night, completing his follow-up medical treatment in Singapore.

He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 9:00pm on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

"Alhamdulillah, she is now well," Sayrul said, adding that Dr Mosharraf had travelled to Singapore on December 14 for routine follow-up treatment.

The senior BNP leader, aged 80, had earlier received treatment in Singapore for a brain tumour diagnosed in 2023.

He was accompanied by his wife during the trip.
