Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- member BNP delegation on Wednesday held a meeting with representatives of the European Parliament at the European Union (EU) office and discussed various issues related to the next national election and the democratic transition in Bangladesh.

The hour-long meeting began at 4:30pm at the EU office in the capital's Gulshan area.

The BNP delegation included its Standing Committee members Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, BNP Acting Chairman's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir, BNP International Affairs Secretary Barrister Nasir Uddin Asim, and Organising Secretary Shama Obaed.
