, Dec. 12 -- BNP on Friday expressed deep concern over the attack on independent candidate Sharif Osman Hadi and demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack.

In a statement issued on Friday, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the incident is part of a "dangerous and far-reaching plan".
