Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui on Tuesday asked the BGB members to firmly thwart any attempt to carry out sabotage, violence or create chaos during the election.

The BGB DG came up with the instruction while exchanging views with BGB personnel during his visit to several election base camps in the capital and its adjoining areas.

The BGB chief visited election base camps set up at Mugda Ideal School and College and Uttara Haji Camp in Dhaka and Tongi BGB camp in Gazipur.

During his visits, he observed the overall preparedness of BGB, the law and order and security arrangements.
