Dhaka, June 1 -- Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao on Sunday stressed the need for countries, including Bangladesh, to work together in preserving the multilateral trading system and ensuring the stability and smooth functioning of global industrial and supply chains amid the current international climate.
While co-chairing the 15th Bangladesh-China Joint Economic and Trade Committee meeting in Dhaka with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed, the Chinese Minister laid emphasis on unity advocating an equal and orderly multipolar world and inclusive economic globalisation, and promoting the construction of an open world economic system.
