Dhaka, Nov. 10 -- The government has again extended the tenure of the committee formed to review the 2016 Bangladesh Bank reserve heist by two more months until December 31 to submit its recommendations.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

Earlier, on March 11, the government formed the high-level review committee headed by Law Adviser Asif Nazrul to review matters related to the reserve heist.

The committee was initially asked to submit its recommendations within three months but its tenure was extended twice. The latest term expired on October 31.
