Barishall, July 29 -- A group of people staged a sit-in in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall on Tuesday, demanding nationwide healthcare reforms and an end to irregularities at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

The protestors, led by Mohiuddin Ronny, who is well-known for his bold stance against mismanagement and irregularities in the Bangladesh Railways, began the programme around 11 am and continued till 12pm.

Ronny announced a three-point demand, calling for infrastructural development and skilled manpower recruitment in all government hospitals, modern equipment and medicine supply and ensure quality treatment for all.
