Dhak, Feb. 6 -- Barishal Samity Jatiya Para Cricket-2025 is set to begin on February 17 with the participation of seven teams with physical disabilities from parts of the country.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between Barishal Zila Samity, Dhaka and National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh at the National Sports Council in the city.

According to the MoU, under the patronage of the Barishal Zila Samity and the technical support from the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh, several tournaments with players with disabilities will be organised.

The tournaments will include Para Cricket, Para Badminton, Pars Table Tennis, and Chess. Moreover, training will be provided to athletes and coaches.
