, May 27 -- Bangladesh will observe the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers on Thursday.
The day will be marked by a number of activities, the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) said in a release on Tuesday.
The day's programme will commence in the morning with the "Peacekeepers' Run/Rally 2025" held in remembrance of those who have served in UN peacekeeping missions.
Later, at around 11:00 am, a special ceremony will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center, where wounded peacekeepers will be formally honored and a special presentation on UN peacekeeping operations will be showcased.
Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed will attend the event as the chief guest.
