Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- The Bangladesh Navy is fully prepared to ensure that the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election and referendum on February 12, 2026, are conducted in a free, fair, peaceful, and festive environment.
On Sunday (Feb 1), Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations), visited navy contingents deployed in key areas and inspected overall security arrangements at polling centers. During the visit, he exchanged views with representatives of the local administration and other law enforcement agencies.
While inspecting contingents in Teknaf, Saint Martin, and Maheshkhali, he provided special guidance to personnel on conducting the election smoothly.
