Dhaka, Nov. 17 -- The Election Commission is set to launch a mobile app 'Postal Vote BD' on Tuesday (November 18) for a particular section of voters including expatriates to register to vote through the postal balloting in the 13th parliamentary election.

The 'Postal Vote BD' mobile app will be opened at Nirbachan Bhaban auditorium in the capital at 6:00pm on Tuesday, said EC Assistant Director (PR) Ashadul Haque on Monday.

The expatriate Bangladeshis, the persons on election duty, the government staff who are in service outside their election area, and those who are behind the bar are being allowed to register in the mobile app to vote through the postal balloting in the next general election to be held in early February 2026.
