Dhaka, July 21 -- The government on Monday declared a one-day state mourning to be observed on Tuesday following the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) training aircraft on the compound of Milestone School and College in the capital's Diabari area.

To mark the mourning, the national flag will be kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government, and autonomous offices, as well as at all educational institutions across the country on Tuesday, said a press release issued by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

The national flag will also be flown at half-mast at all government and private buildings and at Bangladesh missions abroad in observance of the state mourning.
