Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has announced a further decrease in gold prices, lowering the rate by Tk2,403 per bhori.

As a result, the price of 22-carat gold is now set at Tk150,967 per bhori (11.664 grams), down from Tk153,370, according to a press release on Thursday.

The revised prices will come into effect on Friday.

This is the second price reduction in February, following five consecutive price hikes earlier in the month.
