Dhaka, March 8 -- The panel leader of Charcoal Shilpo Rakkha-O-Sanskar Parishad Atikur Rahman has been elected as the president of Bangladesh Charcoal Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCCMEA) for the term of 2025-27.

The election board's chairman Md Gias Uddin Chowdhury (Khokon) announced the results at a city hotel on Saturday. Other EC members Advocate Rafiqul Islam and Mohsin Kabir were also present in the event.

As vice presidents, Mohammad Nazmul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Julias, and Md Habib-e-Hasan (unopposed) were elected.
