Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- The president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Asia Foundation will work on enhancing the skills of female garment workers and promoting a sustainable work environment.

In this regard, a delegation of the Asia Foundation met with the BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan at his office today (Saturday) to discuss mutual cooperation for the development of Bangladesh's readymade garment (RMG) industry, according to a press release.

The meeting, held at the BGMEA Complex in Uttara, emphasized skill development, leadership growth, and ensuring the overall well-being of female workers in the apparel sector.
