, Dec. 21 -- The second day of interrogation of investigation officer Jane Alam Khan was held on Sunday in a crime against humanity case over the killing of seven people, including the burning of six bodies, during the July mass uprising in Ashulia.

The case involves 16 accused, including former Awami League lawmaker from Savar Saiful Islam.

The cross-examination began on Sunday before a three-member judicial panel of International Crimes Tribunal-2, led by its Chairman Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury. The other members of the panel are retired District and Sessions Judge Md Manjurul Bashid and District and Sessions Judge Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir.
