, Oct. 6 -- Members of Bangladesh Army recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from a den of United People Democratic Front (UPDF) in Khagrachhari district early Monday.
According to an Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) media release, based on intelligence report, an army team conducted the drive in the dense forest of Yuboneshwar Para in Panchhari upazila around 5am Monday.
Sensing the presence of the army personnel, UPDF's top local group commander Suman Chakma fled.
Later, one pistol, one magazine, two rounds of ammunition, fifteen banners, two walkie-talkie chargers, two mobile phones, sharp weapons, and various other equipment used by UPDF armed members were recovered from the den, it reads.
