Dhaka, Jan. 17 -- Fascist Coalition of Dhaka University, a student organisation, demanded the resignation of Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Friday.
The protesters held a rally in front of the Raju Sculpture and burned an effigy.
They made the demand in response to what they described as "fascist-style police torture on unarmed students, the failure to ensure the trial of police officers involved in the July uprising killings, and the inability to control the law and order situation in the country."
