Dhaka, Feb. 7 -- Anthony Mackie is set to take on the role of Captain America in the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World, marking a pivotal moment for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Following Chris Evans' retirement from the role of Steve Rogers, Mackie's character, Sam Wilson, will carry the iconic shield, ushering in a new era for the MCU.
