Mymensingh, March 24 -- Ganosamhati Andolon Chief Coordinator Junaid Saki on Monday demanded that Awami League be tried as a party even if it requires enacting new laws, alongside prosecuting genocidal fascists and their accomplices.

Speaking at an Iftar event organised by the party in Mymensingh, Saki said, "There is a tug-of-war over credit for the mass uprising-one group wants to claim it all for themselves. After August 5, divisions are being created, and tagging is being done in a fascist manner. This will ultimately pave the way for the resurgence of the old fascists. Those creating these divisions must be identified as enemies."
