Lakshmipur, March 31 -- Azizur Rahman Bachchu Mollah, the father of Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam, has been injured in an attack allegedly carried out by Jubo Dal men in Lakshmipur.

The incident took place around 9:30 pm on Sunday in front of Bachchu Mollah's house in Narayanpur of Ramganj upazila, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Ramganj Police Station Md Abul Bashar.

He was later taken to Ramganj Upazila Health Complex for primary treatment before being brought back home, the OC said.
