Dhaka, June 23 -- Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan on Monday inaugurated a day-long workshop on the Commonwealth Charter in Dhaka.

Around 100 participants took part in the event, says a press release.

The adviser called for upholding the Charter which stands for shared values of democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

He praised the Charter's contribution in guiding over 2.5 billion people in 56 countries in inclusive development.
