, March 9 -- The sale of advance train tickets will start online from March 14 to facilitate travel of Eid holidaymakers.

Bangladesh Railway (BR) will operate five additional pairs of trains on five routes of the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, said a press release of Bangladesh Railway issued on Sunday.

The inter-city trains will run as per its previous schedule and there will be no weekly break, it said.

The special trains include-Chattogram-Chandpur-Chattogram, Dhaka-Dewanganj-Dhaka, Bhairabbazar-Koshoreganj-Bhairabbazar, Mymensingh-Kishoreganj-Mymensingh and Joydebpur-Parbatipur-Joydebpur routes.
