, March 6 -- six fishermen who were detained by the members of Myanmar Navy released on Thursday.
Commanding officer of Teknaf-2 Battalion, Ashikur Rahman, said earlier on Wednesday, Myanmar Navy detained 56 Bangladeshi fishermen along with six trawlers from the Bay of Bengal at gun-point.
Later, they released the fishermen on Thursday morning but kept the trawlers and nets.
