, May 29 -- Police in a drive arrested four people in connection with their involvement in a mugging incident in Moghbazar area, from different parts of the capital.

The arrestees were identified as Md Shamim, 24, Md Jibon alias Hridoy, 27, Sohel Rana, 36 and Makbul Hossain, 25.

Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested them from different parts of the country in Dhaka and its adjacent area, said Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Police also seized the bag snatched during the mugging, Tk 9,600 in cash, one mobile phone set, two knives, one switch gear and a motorcycle from their possession.
