Dhaka, July 18 -- In a series of nationwide joint operations led by the Bangladesh Army, a total of 328 people involved in various criminal activities have been detained between July 10-17.
According to ISPR, the operations-conducted in coordination with other law enforcement agencies-targeted various locations across the country including Dhaka.
Those apprehended include identified terrorists, illegal arms dealers, drug traffickers, smugglers, juvenile gang members, extortionists, illegal land occupiers, robbers, and illegal sand miners. Many were caught red-handed during the raids, ISPR said.
