Manikganj, March 22 -- Police recovered the bodies of three women from separate locations in Manikganj Sadar Upazila within 24 hours.

The bodies were recovered from different areas of Garpara, Bhararia, and Atigram unions between Friday evening and Saturday evening.

SM Aman Ullah, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manikganj Sadar Police Station, said, "The bodies have been sent to Manikganj Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Legal proceedings are underway."

According to the police, the body of a girl, Tanima Akter (16), was found hanging with a scarf in Ranadia area of Garpara Union on Saturday noon. Tanima was the daughter of Md. Rafiq Mia from Ranadia, Garpara.
