, May 20 -- Discrimination Student Movement, who were detained overnight for allegedly creating chaos at a residence in Dhanmondi area of the capital, were released on Tuesday.

The freed were identified as Saiful Islam Rabbi, 26, convener of Mohammadpur unit Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and a student of Patuakhali Polytechnic Institute, Farhan Sarkar Dina, 26, joint member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan unit of the organisation and student of Bangladesh Maritime University and Mohammad Ullah Jisan, 24, a student of Mohammadpur Central College.

Hannan Masud, central leader of the organisation secured their release on bond by submitting affidavits on their behalf.
