Chandpur, March 25 -- Two siblings have died after being electrocuted in Shasankhola village of Kadla Union at Kachua upazila of Chandpur.

The deceased were identified as Khorshed Alam Bakaul (50) and his younger brother Abul Hasanat Bakaul (36), both sons of Kabir Hossain Bakaul from the same village, said Kachua Police Station Officer-in-Charge Azizul Islam and local UP member Md Sabuj Farazi.

The two brothers got electrocuted while pumping water into a paddy field using a shallow machine.
