Jashore, Nov. 30 -- Two motorcycle riders were killed after a speeding bus crashed into them in the Jagahati area of Sadar Upazila on the Jashore-Chaugachha road on Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as Selim Hossain, 35, son of Afil Uddin of Alisa Jadunathpur village in Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah, and Ibrahim Hossain, 38, son of Tahajjal Hossain.

Police said the victims were heading towards Jashore town when, around 8:45 pm, a bus coming from the opposite direction rammed into their motorcycle. Both men died on the spot. The bus fled immediately after the collision.
