, March 23 -- Two people were killed when a truck hit a human hauler on Tongi-Kaliganj road in Pubail of Gazipur district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Hanif Mia, 35, driver of the human hauler of Haidarbad village and Sahed Sabbir, 25, of Majukhan village in Pubail.

The accident occurred in Nimtoli area in the morning when the Dhaka-bound speedy truck crashed into a human hauler coming from the opposite direction, leaving its driver and a passenger of the human hauler killed on the spot and several others injured.
