Dhaka, June 16 -- The officers-in-charge (OCs) of two police stations under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred.

Jatrabari Police Station OC Kazi Wazed Ali has been sent to Sutrapur Police Station while he has been replaced by Tejgaon OC Md Mazharul Islam.

An office order was issued signed by DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia to this end on Saturday evening.

As per another office order issued on June 12, Mazharul Islam was transferred to Sutrapur Police Station as its OC.

However, this order has been cancelled, said DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman on Sunday.
