Dhaka, April 15 -- Police detectives in a drive have arrested two suspected muggers for their alleged involvement in killing a man after snatching his mobile phone in Dhaka's Moghbazar area on December 15, last year.

The arrestees, picked up from Basabo area on Monday, were identified as Sabbir Hossain, 20 and Hridoy Khan, 22.

Deputy Commissioner (media) of DMP Talebur Rahman, said a team of DB police conducted a drive in Basabo area around 5 am on Monday and arrested the duo.

Police also recovered mobile phone sets and a motorcycle from their possession.
