Sylhet, Dec. 8 -- A total of 192 candidates will contest the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Central Students' Union (SUCSU) and hall union elections scheduled on January 20, 2026.

The Chief Election Commissioner, Professor Dr. Abul Mukit Mohammad Mokaddes, published the list on the SUCSU website on Sunday.

According to the list, 106 candidates will contest the central parliament elections, while 86 candidates will run for the hall parliaments of the university's six residential halls.
