Brahmanbaria, Feb. 22 -- A case was filed on Sunday against around 150 people including BNP leaders and activists over allegations of blocking newly elected MP Rumeen Farhana from paying tribute at a Shaheed Minar in Sarail upazila and assaulting her supporters.
Ahad, a supporter of Rumeen Farhana, filed the case with Sarail Police Station.
Former Sarail upazila BNP general secretary Anwar Hossain has been named as the prime accused.
Officer-in-Charge of Sarail Police Station Manjur Kader Bhuiyan said the case names five accused while 140 to 150 others have been listed as unidentified.
