Dhaka, May 21 -- A total of 15 officials and personnel from the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Directorate have successfully completed a 4-day long Swift Water Rescue Training course, ended in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday
Organised by the US Embassy in Dhaka, the specialised training, which wss started on Sunday last week, focused on equipping participants with the skills needed to rescue people during tidal surges, flash floods, and other water-related emergencies, says Station Officer Talha Bin Jashim of the FSCD headquarters media cell in Dhaka.
