Jhalokathi, Jan. 3 -- The nomination papers of 25 candidates for the upcoming 13th national parliamentary elections in Jhalokathi's two constituencies have been scrutinized, resulting in 13 valid, 8 rejected, and 4 suspended nominations.
The announcement was made Saturday afternoon by the district Returning Officer Momin Uddin.
The cancellations were due to issues including loan default, incomplete affidavits, inaccuracies in one percent voter support, and missing documents.
