Dhaka, Feb. 15 -- Police have arrested 13 people involved in various crimes, including snatching, during a special operation in the capital's Kamrangirchar area.

The arrestees are Md Shafiqul Islam, 20, Md Tanvir Hossain, 22, Md Nayem Mollah, 20, Md Nahid Hossain, 20, Md Ripon Islam, 20, Md Shakib, 25, Md Sayem, 18, Nur Mohammad, 24, Md Kawsar, 20, Md Ramjan, 25, Md Sujan Kha, 30, Shahin Munshi, 40, and Md Shahed Khan, 35.

The arrests were made in a three-hour long operation conducted from 8:35 pm to 11:45 pm on Friday, said Assistant Commissioner (media) of DMP Jahangir Kabir.
