Benapole, April 7 -- In a maiden consignment, 10 out of 40 approved refrigerating milk vans for Bangladesh Army have arrived in the country from India through Benapole land port.
Benapole Port Deputy Director Rashedul Sajib Nazir said the first batch of the vans arrived on Sunday and the remaining will also come in the coming days.
The vans entered the port's cargo vehicle terminal through India's Petrapole border. The Directorate General of Defence Purchase (DGDP) is the importer of the vehicles exported by Indian Ashok Leyland Limited.
The market price of the 10 vans stands at USD $ 256,053.
