'Line of Ages' print workshop begins in city

Dhaka, April 10 -- A four-day special print workshop titled 'Line of Ages' began at Cosmos-Atelier71 Studio in the city's Malibagh on Wednesday.
The workshop is being conducted by Toshihiko Ikeda, a noted young Japanese print-artist and educator of Art Village Shirakino, Minamishimabara-shi, located in Nagasaki, Japan.
Ikeda is also a part time lecturer of the department of printmaking of Nihon University.
The participating artists are - Asharful Hasan, Dr. Hira Sobahan, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Juton Chandra Roy, Khalequzzaman Shimul, Mohammad Rezaul Sadat, Nagarbasi Barman, Nevine Sultana, Nityananda Gaine and Sourav Chowdhury.
