Dhaka, April 13 -- 'Bhasani Janashakti Party', a new political party, was launched by the Bhasani Anushari Parishad on Sunday, aiming to build a prosperous and just Bangladesh.

The announcement was made during the National Representative Council 2025 of the Bhasani Anushari Parishad, held at the Jatiya Press Club auditorium.

Representatives from across the country unanimously approved the formation of the new party at the council.

The council also approved a 121-member central committee of the party, with Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Babul as its chairman and Abu Yusuf Selim as secretary general.
