Mumbai, Jan. 25 -- Finnish tyre manufacturer Nokian Tyres signed a contract for flexible working hours covering passenger car tyre production for 2021 at its Finnishfactory. The agreement comes into effect immediately and is in place until the end of the year.

The contact aims to evade temporary layoffs due to lack of demand by allowing production to be focused according to seasonal demand while adjusting production to more quiet periods. This move helps the company maintain employee relationship.
