India, Feb. 16 -- Launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) in 2016, UPI (Unified Payments Interface) has revolutionised everyday transactions of all sizes and scopes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced that UPI and RuPay Card services will now operate in Mauritius and Sri Lanka, expanding the list of UPI-friendly countries.
