India, Aug. 17 -- Thailand offers a new 'Pay to Stay' visa programme that is reserved only for the elite and includes heaps of luxurious perks. By Amitha Ameen
This new 'Pay to Stay' visa programme by Thailand aims to lure rich expats from countries like Australia and Hong Kong in the post-COVID-19 world.
The Thailand Elite Card Membership provides a renewable five-year visa and prices range from 500,000 baht to 2 million baht (INR 11,99,220 to INR 47,95,804). The elite card is meant for affluent expats, long-stays and investors. Included in the membership are some luxury perks like limousine rides, medical check-ups, yacht and jet charters, and golf sessions at championship courses in Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket.
